Industrial Relations News

On Wednesday, 13 May 2015, the National Minimum Wage (Low Pay Commission) Bill was published. The Bill provides for the establishment of the Low Pay Commission on a statutory basis.

The Industrial Relations (Amendment) Bill 2015 was published on Thursday, 14 May 2015. It provides, firstly, for the reintroduction of a mechanism for the registration of employment agreements between and employer or employers and trade unions governing remuneration and conditions of employment in individual enterprises.
