Procedure:
In accordance with section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015, following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
The hearing was conducted in public; there were no special circumstances to warrant otherwise, or to warrant anonymisation of this decision.
Background:
The within complaint under Section 45A of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946, was referred to the Commission on 26th of January 2026. The complainant form specifies that the complaint relates to the non-receipt of terms and conditions as set out in an Employment Regulation Order (“ERO”).

Findings and Conclusions:
As part of my investigation I am obliged to hold a hearing. I am satisfied that both parties received notification of the hearing arrangements. The complainant failed to attend the hearing to pursue his case. As no evidence was given at the hearing in support of the allegations made, I declare this claim to be not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
