Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Background:
None of the parties attended the hearing. The Commission made efforts in advance and on the day of the hearing as to the absence of the parties and no reply was forthcoming from either party. The only documentation provided to the Commission was the complaint of the Complainant. Having waited 30 minutes for the appearance of either party and there being none, the hearing was properly closed. The Commission attempted to contact the Complainant post-hearing to ascertain any reasons for the delay and received no answer. |

Findings and Conclusions:
On the basis the that the Complainant failed to appear and offered no reasons for the non-appearance I cannot find in favour of the Complainant and find that all the complaint are not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
