Procedure:
In accordance with Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Background:
The Complainant submitted the within claim seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Act, 1977 on 26th of March 2025. A Hearing of the claim was held on 23rd of February 2026. |

The complainant was not in attendance at the hearing. |

The respondent was in attendance at the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
On review of the correspondence on file I am satisfied that the Complainant was notified of the hearing date, time and location. The complainant failed to attend the hearing to pursue her case. In the circumstances I am satisfied that the complaint should fail. |
Decision:
Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.
The Complainant did not attend at the hearing. Accordingly, I declare this claim to be not well founded. |
