Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Worker initiated this referral by way of WRC Complaint Form which was delivered on the 3rd of July 2024. The referral related to the imposition of disciplinary sanctions and other matter which had occurred prior to the referral which it was contended were in breach of fair procedures and discriminatory. |
Summary of Workers Case:
The present referral together with a number of other matters came on for hearing at Lansdowne House on various dates ending on the 16th and 17th of June 2026. However, in a communication dated the 8th of June 2026, the Complainant’s representative confirmed that this referral was no longer being pursued. Accordingly, the referral is deemed withdrawn by the Worker. |
