Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.

The Complainant submitted a complaint against the Respondent under the Employment Equality Acts. |

The Complainant did not attend the hearing. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The Respondent attended the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
On review of the administrative file on this matter, it is clear that the Complainant was notified of the hearing date using the email provided on the complaint form. I also note that the Complainant corresponded with the WRC using that same email address. In the circumstances I am satisfied that the Complainant was on notice of the hearing but did not attend. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
The complaint is not well founded. |
