Date of Hearing: 15/12/2025
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute(s).
Background:
The worker’s employment commenced on She claims that she was dismissed for the following reason: I firmly believe I was unfairly and prematurely dismissed for simply exercising my right to ask reasonable questions about the terms of my employment — terms which had already been misrepresented during recruitment. This was not a good-faith decision based on performance, but a reaction to me asserting my rights as an employee. |
