Procedure:
In accordance with Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The Complainant commenced employment as a Community Operation Analyst with the Respondent on 13 May 2019. In his complaint form submitted to the WRC he stated that he was subjected to unfair treatment by his Operation Manager. He stated that the treatment was unreasonable, inappropriate, and significantly different from how other employees are treated. |

As the Complainant failed to attend the hearing to give evidence in relation to his complaint, the Respondent did not present any evidence. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As the Complainant failed to attend the hearing to give evidence in relation to his complaint, I find that he did not establish a prima facie case of discrimination and was therefore not discriminated against by the Respondent. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
I find that the Complainant was not discriminated against by the Respondent for the reason set out above. |
