Procedure:
In accordance with Section 25 of the Equal Status Act, 2000, following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The Complaint referred was in relation to what the Complaint set out as a breach of the Equal Status Act. The Liquidator confirmed prior to the hearing that they were not instructed in the matter and would not contesting or attending. The Complainant did not attend on the morning of the hearing; the Case Officer attempted to make contact using the numbers provided. I allowed a full hour for an appearance or communication and none came. I have fully exhausted my duty to wait for the Complainant. |

With the non attendance of the Complaint the complaint cannot proceed and I cannot find the complaint well founded. |
