Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 following the referral of the complaint(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s).
Background:
| The within claim against the Respondent is brought under The Unfair Dismissals Act, 1977, and the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, The Parental Leave Act 1998, The Employment Permits Act 2006, The Further Education and Training Act 2013, The Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act 1973, Parental Leave Act 1998 and the Maternity Protection Act 1994. 
 The Complainant commenced employment with the Respondent company on the 2nd of June 2022 as a Content Editor for Evoke.ie, a website which is part of the Respondent company. 
 On the 15th of July 2025 the Complainant was notified of the hearing details at the email provided by her for communication: 
 Date: 19 September 2025 Venue: Remote Hearing via Webex Platform Time: 09:00 
 The Respondent attended at the hearing and the Complainant failed to attend. |

Findings and Conclusions:
| The Complainant was notified of the date and time of hearing and communicated by email at the address provided by her. In these circumstances I find that she was properly notified of the hearing and failed to attend. The complaints as set out are not well founded and I determine that the Complainant was not Unfairly Dismissed. | 
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.
| The Complaints as set out are not well-founded arising from the failure of the Complainant to attend at the hearing.
