Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The Complainant initiated this claim by Workplace Relations Complaint Form which was received by the Workplace Relations Commission on the 25th of May 2025. That complaint sought relief pursuant to section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994 |

There was no appearance by or on behalf of the Complainant at the adjudication hearing, |

The Respondent’s Ms. Sisa Moyo appeared for the Respondent to oppose the complaint. |
Findings and Conclusions:
The matter was listed for hearing in the offices of the Workplace Relations Commission on the 31st of October 2025. There was no appearance by the Complainant. The Respondent was in attendance and ready to proceed. Having ascertained that the Complainant was on notice of the time, date and venue for the adjudication hearing, I proceeded in the absence of the Complainant. As there was no appearance by or on behalf of the Complainant, the Respondent has no case to answer and the Complainant is not well-founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
