Complaint seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994 | CA-00067012-001 | 29/10/2024 |
Date of Adjudication Hearing: 22/04/2025
Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Breiffni O'Neill
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Although I am satisfied that both the Complainant and the Respondent were on notice of the time and date of the hearing, neither party attended on the day to give evidence in relation to the complaint.
Background:
In his complaint form submitted to the WRC, the Complainant stated that the Respondent failed to provide documents to him despite him having requested same. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The Complainant did not attend on the day of the hearing to give evidence in relation to his complaint. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The Respondent did not attend on the day of the hearing to give evidence in relation to the complaint. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As the Complainant did not attend the hearing to give evidence, I find that this complaint is not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
I find that this complaint is not well founded for the reason set out above. |
