Procedure:

In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.

Background:

The original complaint related to a non payment of wages under the payment of Wages Act 1991

The hearing was not attended by either party and I was satisfied that they were both on proper notice of the hearing.

An interpreter attended on the Complainant request.

Having waited the customary 15 minutes and some further time I closed the hearing

Findings and Conclusions:

With no attendance by the Complainant and their refusal to return emails and phone I can only conclude that they do not wish to pursue their complainant and for that reason it is not well founded.

Decision:

Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.

I find that the complaints not well founded.
