Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Louise Boyle
Date of Hearing: 26/05/2025
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The worker did not attend the hearing. |
Summary of Workers Case:
In his complaint form the worker submits that he was dismissed unfairly. |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
The employer attended the hearing. |
Conclusions:
In conducting my investigation, I have taken into account all relevant submissions presented to me by the parties.
A dispute was received by the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission from the worker on 27/09/2024 and was referred to me for investigation. A hearing for that purpose was held on 26/05/2025 and there was no appearance by the worker. I am satisfied that the worker was informed of the date, time and place at which the hearing to investigate the dispute would be held and did not attend.
In the circumstances, I do not find merit in the dispute. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
I do not find merit in the dispute. |
