Procedure:

In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint. The Complainant did not attend the hearing.

Background:

The Complainant submitted a complaint under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994 which was received by the Workplace Relations Commission on 7 June 2024.

Mr Anthony Adams attended on behalf of the Respondent.

Findings and Conclusions:

The Complainant did not attend the hearing. I am reasonably satisfied that she was informed of the date, time, and venue of the hearing. The complaint was not well founded due to a lack of evidence.

Decision:

Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.

The Complainant’s case was not well founded due to a lack of evidence.
