Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The matter was set down for a face-to-face hearing in Dublin. The respondent attended the hearing. The complainant indicated in writing the night before the hearing took place that she might not attend. The hearing opened by allowing 15 minutes for the complainant to attend, however, no appearance was made by the complainant. |

The complainant did not attend the hearing of this matter. |

The respondent attended the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
I am satisfied that the complainant was on notice of the hearing and offered no explanation for her absence. The complainant provided no evidence to substantiate her compliant. Accordingly. I find that the compliant is not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
In all the circumstances, my decision is that this complaint is not well founded. |
