Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Complainant was employed in a café, as a part-time food and beverage worker. He referred a dispute under the Industrial Relations Act 1969 to the Workplace Relations Commission on 16th December 2021.  |

The Worker did not attend.  | 
Summary of Employer’s Case:
The Employer attended.  | 
Conclusions:
The dispute was received by the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission on 16th December 2021. The complaint application number CA-00054037 was assigned to the dispute. 
 The dispute was referred to me for investigation. A hearing for that purpose was arranged for 1st September 2022. There was no appearance by or on behalf of the Complainant at the hearing.

Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
I do not recommend in favour of the worker.  |
