Procedure:

In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.

Background:

The Worker commenced his employment with the Employer on 4 January 2019. He stated that he was dismissed from his employment on 1 July 2019 following queries he made about overtime payments due to him not being made.

The Worker did not attend to give evidence

The Employer did not attend to give evidence

Findings and Conclusions:

In the absence of any evidence having been presented by the Worker, I cannot make a recommendation in relation to this dispute.

Decision:

Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.

I cannot make a recommendation in relation to this dispute for the reasons set out above.
