In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended)following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.

Background:

The Complainant worked for a Vet Practice and claims that she was dismissed. This complaint is an unfair dismissal complaint pursuant to the Industrial Relations Acts 1969 as amended.

Conclusions:

The Complainant withdrew this complaint at the Adjudication hearing on 20 March 2023 preferring instead to pursue a number of employment rights complaints, which were adjudicated upon and decided.

Recommendation:

Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.

As this complaint was withdrawn at hearing I make no recommendation in relation to the dispute.
