In accordance with Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
1: Summary of Complainant’s Case:

The Complainant did not attend the Oral Hearing and no evidence was put forward save the details alleged on the claim form. I was satisfied that proper Notice had been served of the date and time of the Hearing. |
2: Summary of Respondent’s Case:

As the Complainant, did not attend and No evidence was advanced the Respondent was not required to go into evidence. The Respondent submitted a detailed Written Submission which resolutely denied the claim in all it’s parts. |
3: Findings and Conclusions:

As the Complainant, did not attend the Oral Hearing and proper notice had been served I accepted the Respondents positon and dismissed the claim. |
Decision:
Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.
