1. An appeal of an Adjudication Officer's Decision No : ADJ-00001820.
BACKGROUND:
2. The substantive issue on appeal before the Court has been resolved by the parties. The only issue outstanding is the subject of the Court’s Decision below.
DECISION:
The Court has given careful consideration to the extensive submissions that have been made to it by both parties in this dispute.
The Court is also mindful that the substantive issues between the parties have been resolved to the satisfaction of each side. The one outstanding issue relates to the level, if any, compensation for lost time that should be paid to the Claimant.
The Claimant measures the loss at €42,000 euro. The Respondent submits that no compensation is appropriate in this case.
Having weighed the evidence and information before it the Court finds that compensation in the sum of €24,000 is appropriate in this case and decides accordingly.
The Court so decides.
Signed on behalf of the Labour Court
