Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015, under section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994 and under Section 18 of the Parental Leave Act 1998 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Background
The Complainant has been employed as a Security Supervisor since 30th October 2014. He works 48 hours per week and is paid €475. He has claimed that did not get a written contract of employment contrary to Sec 3 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994 and that he was refused ‘force majeure’ contrary to the Parental Leave Act 1998.

Findings
I find that the Complainant did not attend and no claim was presented at the hearing.
Decision:
Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act under section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994 and under Section 18 of the Parental Leave Act 1998.
I have decided that these complaints fail for want of prosecution.
