1. Complaint that Rights Commissioner's Decision R-141145-HS-14/JW has not been implemented.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Worker referred his case to the Labour Court in accordance with Section 29(8) of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 on the 16th April, 2015. The following is the Determination of the Court:
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been made under Section 29(8) of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 by Barry Thompson, c/o Richard Grogan & Associates, 16-17 College Green, Dublin 2 that his employer, Nurendale T/A Panda Waste, Rathdrinagh, Beauparc Business Park, Navan, Co. Meath failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner, r-141145-hs-14/JW;
And the said decision not having been carried out by the employer, and no appeal having been brought against the said decision within the time limit for such appeal;
The Court hereby determines that the said employer pay to the said employee €5,000.00 in accordance with the decision of the Rights Commissioner.
