The appellant and the owner of the respondent business gave sworn evidence in this matter.
The Tribunal accepts the appellant had continuity of service for one month after the cessation of her apprenticeship and therefore her redundancy was effected from March 2013 and must take into account the continuity of her service from September 2008.
Accordingly, under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, the Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum based on the following details:
Date of Birth:
Date of Commencement: 8 September 2008
Date of Notice: 13 March 2013
Date of Termination: 13 March 2013
