The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The claimant had received a notice payment from the State of €600.00 per week and a determination was sought from the Tribunal in respect of the balance still due to the claimant under minimum notice.
The representative from the receiver’s office did not contest the claim.
The Tribunal allows the claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 and awards the claimant the sum of €5,492.32 (this amount being equivalent to four weeks’ gross pay at €1,973.08 per week less the payment already received of €2,400.00 i.e. four weeks’ gross pay at €600.00 per week.
