This case came before the Tribunal by way of an appeal by the employee (appellant) against the decision of the Rights Commissioner (r-110487-pw-11/EH) under the Payment of Wages Act 1991.
The Tribunal is satisfied that the parties were properly notified of the hearing. The appellant’s representative attended the hearing and informed the Tribunal that he had no instructions from his client. Accordingly the Tribunal dismisses the appeal and the decision of the Rights Commissioner is upheld.
