The Public Appointments Service are running a competition for WRC External Adjudicators and the closing date is 14th June 2018. The Public Appointments Service will conduct the process for selection for appointment by the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation. The primary role of the Adjudicator is to conduct hearings and issue reasoned decisions.
Applications are sought from those with significant relevant experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Employment and Equality Law
• Human Resources Management
• Industrial Relations
Successful candidates will have membership of, or experience of appearing before tribunals, committees or other decision-making bodies in the employment rights, equality rights or industrial relations arenas. They will have a broad knowledge of fair procedures in addition to demonstrating sound judgement and excellent decision-making ability.
