The Workplace Relations Act 2015, which was enacted in May 2015, gave effect to a major reform of the workplace relations structures as they existed at that time. Under the Act, the Workplace Relations Commission became the sole receiver of First Instance Complaints under Industrial Relations, Employment and Equality Legislation; the Labour Court became responsible for hearing Appeals.
