This dispute concerns a claim by Ms. Freda McGrath that, on 22nd August, 1996 the Board of Management of St. Peter and Paul's C.B.S., Clonmel, (hereinafter referred to as the school) discriminated against her within the meaning of Section 2(a), 2(b) and 2(c) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and in contravention of Section 3 of that Act when it did not appoint her to the position of Principal in that school.
