This dispute concerns a claim by Dr. Juliet Bressan that the Western Health Board discriminated against her on grounds of sex and marital status in terms of Section 2(a) and Section 2(b) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and in contravention of Section 3 of that Act when they did not shortlist her for interview for a six months training position in the Paediatric Department in the University College Hospital Galway.
