1. Meal Breaks.


BACKGROUND:

2. The Court recommended (in LCR No. 17235) that in the event that agreement cannot be reached that the parties refer this issue back to the Court for a Definitive Recommendation.



RECOMMENDATION:

The Court recommends that discussions should be held between the parties to introduce a system whereby meal breaks will be paid for evening and night shifts with effect from the first working week in March, 2003.
