The case concerns a claim by Ms. Eugenia Fernandez that Cable & Wireless directly discriminated against her on the gender, sexual orientation, disability and race grounds in terms of section 6(2)(a), (d), (g) and (h) of the Employment Equality Act, 1998 and contrary to the provisions of section 8(1)(b) of the Act in relation to her conditions of employment.
