This recommendation concerns a reference by the Employment Equality Agency under Section 20 of the Act for an investigation of an allegation that Ms Marie Caffrey Hanrahan was discriminated against on the basis of her sex contrary to the terms of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 when the Administrator of the Redeployment Scheme withdrew her nomination for an appointment to St. Vincent's College, Castleknock in May 1991.
